If it's a busy day and the park's lots are full, some guests may be directed to park at the marina next door, which is a pleasant 5 minute walk to the venue. See note below about a possible short detour that afternoon.

If you are starting from Seattle or Burien it’s a bit more efficient to come down Highway 509.

Parking: Attendants will direct you to pre-paid parking.

Possible detour: The main street in Des Moines (Marine View Drive) will close at some point in the afternoon (timing unclear) for a parade (and parade prep), so you may need to follow detour signs for a few blocks. Allow a little extra time!

This is a summer beach park wedding in the Pacific Northwest.
Daylight will last forever (9 PM sunset, nautical twilight ends at 10:30). But it’s not as warm as summer elsewhere in the US: our July average high is 74 degrees and evenings can drop into the 60s. 
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for walking on grass, and bringing a sweater or light jacket if you want to be outside in the evening. (There will be coat racks and your car will be nearby if you want to leave anything there.)
Activities will begin outside on the lawn and shaded picnic shelter and move into the dining hall for dinner and dancing.
